The dentist who made millions with writing courses
In a couple weeks here, I’m going to be doing a cross promotion with Kieran Drew.
If you don’t know who Kieran is, he quit his dentistry career to write online and made over a million dollars with it in just a few years. And he’s done almost all of it with low-ticket courses.
Which is rare.
Kieran was a huge inspiration for me after I realized I didn’t much like the multi-media experience of trying to create content on Instagram and just wanted to write and share my ideas. Soon as I made the switch, I found folks like Kieran already making it work.
I remember the night I purchased his High Impact Writing course like it was yesterday.
I was still trying to make my break away from running a construction business so I could work remote by writing and teaching online.
I was sitting in the little 3rd floor office nook of the house my girlfriend and I were renovating to flip and sell at the time.
We were both feeling really crunched for cash, and every last penny counted until the house was finished and sold. And with the housing market taking a turn for the worse, we weren’t even sure it would turn a profit once it was done. So to be honest, I felt like the price of the course was a risk at the time.
But in hindsight, it’s paid off more than I could have imagined because now I’ve completely replaced my construction income and haven’t picked up a hammer since October of 2023.
