This kept sales from me for far too long

Might sound like bragging, but it’s not.

It’s the opposite.

After out-working, out-learning, and out-studying most people in my niche, I’ve realized it’s not lack of information that’s kept me from publishing, promoting, and selling my offers in the past.

It was actually self-doubt.

Here’s a sneaky way it shows up:

If you see other people in your niche doing something similar to what you’re doing and you “ignore them” instead of connecting, following their work, and even downright obsessively spying on them in the name of “not being influenced by others”, then there’s a good chance that’s just self-doubt rearing it’s ugly head.

If you believe in yourself and your abilities, being influenced by others is good.

They might teach you something you didn’t know and you can share your own personal perspective and insights on trending problems that need to be solved in your niche right now.

Because the truth is you don’t have to worry about your competitors in business.

You need to spar with them.

They’ll keep you on top of your game.

This is what moves people and businesses forward. It’s not even really competition, it’s more like collaboration. If I could go back in time and change anything, I’d stop worrying about being influenced by others and start welcoming it with open arms.

It’s called market research and it will put you miles ahead of anyone who stubbornly refuses to do it.

So if you’re at all interested in what I’m doing and how you could do it different, or better, now’s a good time to pick up my Legendary Writing Guide (because it will give you access to the V2 upgrade next week, and a behind-the-scenes look at how I’m using it, ads, and other lead magnets, to grow my business online).
