Heythem is back!
A few weeks ago I wrote to you about how one of my favorite writers on Threads got banned overnight. 69,000 followers, a 650+ day streak, two years of real work… gone without warning.
But the response from the community was pretty much what I expected.
People made posts, talked about his work, the impact it had on them, how they’d like to see him back on the platform, and kept his name in the feed while he figured out what to do next.
And I’m guessing that same would happen for you.
If your account disappeared tomorrow, I believe there’s at least 100 people on Threads who would come to your aide.
Maybe you don’t believe that. Maybe you think you’re too small, or too new, or that no one is paying attention. But I’ve been hanging around long enough to know that when someone is showing up honestly and building real connections, people take notice. And even if they’re too busy to comment on all your stuff, deep down inside they’re still rooting for you.
Threads gets a lot of grief for it’s algorithm changes, and fair enough, my own list growth is quite dead this month.
But I really can’t blame anyone else for that because it probably has more to do with my recent vibe coding addiction.
I’ve built some things I’m pretty excited about, but at the same time, I’ve gotten a little distracted from some of the work that matters more right now.
So here’s what’s next:
I think Threads is still one of the best platforms to grow on in 2026. I’ve got some exciting new offers coming your way this week that will make the community a more fun and useful place to be. And I’ll be directing a large amount of my focus back to my marketing clients because it genuinely fills my cup to see how happy they are when we’re getting results.
