When posting doesn't turn into clients

Using social media to build a real clientele for your business is way harder than most people are willing to admit.

Everyone tells you to post more, engage more, “just be consistent,” and wait for the magic to happen.

But if that were true…

Why are so many people posting daily and not getting any results?

Why does engagement feel busy, but never turn into anything meaningful?

Why do followers pile up without turning into real conversations, customers, or clients?

I’ll tell you why…

The reason it feels hard, isn’t because you’re not putting in the effort.

It’s because most people out there are using the wrong mental model for creating content.

Today, I’ll show you the right mental model, and how to use it to turn posting from busy work into a predictable path to conversations, clients, and sales.

Here’s how I discovered it…

When Threads first launched, nobody knew what worked.

There were no analytics. No playbooks. No gurus pretending they had it all figured out. Scratch that… actually there were dozens of gurus on day one pretending they had it all figured out.

But we all knew that wasn’t true.

So instead of guessing, I treated it like a science experiment.

I posted consistently.

I tried out different formats.

I tracked what led to replies, conversations, and ultimately customers and clients. I paid close attention to which posts actually moved people closer to me, and which ones moved people farther away.

And I noticed something almost no one talks about.

The posts that led to clients, usually weren’t the most viral ones.

They weren’t the posts with the most likes.

Or the widest reach.

They were the posts most clearly directed at the person I was trying to reach. They were the posts that made the exact right type of person feel understood and seen.

In fact, my first inbound client came from a post with only a handful of likes.

I didn’t even have a proper offer at the time. I just posted about my experience and my results, and they reached out to me directly to ask for help.

That’s when I realized why so many of us were struggling with Threads early on.

Most people were worried about making their content go viral instead of focusing on what actually creates clients.

Recognition.

The goal isn’t to be seen by everyone.

The goal is to become unmistakable to the right kind of person.

When you understand how to do that, posting stops feeling random.

It starts working like a direct line between you, your thinking, and the people who need it the most.

And once you see it’s done, you can’t unsee it.

So here’s what most people don’t understand about how to create content that actually turns into clients. It’s not about how often you post. It’s not about how clever your hooks are. And it’s definitely not about how much time you spend engaging.

Content turns into clients when it does one thing consistently:

It helps the right person recognize themselves in your writing.

Most people overlook this part entirely.

They sit down and ask, “What should I post today?”

When the better question is, “What does my ideal client need to hear right now to move one step closer to me?”

That shift alone changes everything.

Because once your content is anchored to a specific person and a specific problem, every post suddenly has a clear, specific purpose.

It stops feeling random.

It stops feeling performative.

And it stops feeling exhausting.

Here’s the simple framework most people never come to understand.

If your goal is conversations, clients, and sales, it all comes down to three things:

  1. Who you’re writing to:

One clear person. One clear situation. One clear set of frustrations and desires.

  2. What belief you’re shifting:

Something they already feel… but haven’t fully put into words yet.

  3. How you show up consistently with that message:

Using repeatable formats instead of reinventing the wheel every day.

That’s it.

You don’t need more volume. You don’t need more viral templates.

You just need more precision in your posting.

That’s how you win.

That’s how social algorithms are optimized.

And when I stopped treating my content solely as an outlet for personal expression, and started treating every post like an experiment in serving my ideal clients…

Everything changed.

That’s when I started finding people who were looking for what I already knew how to help with. And I’ve packaged the process up into what I call my Client Discovery System.

It’s nothing fancy, or patented.

It’s just a simple way of treating content like a discovery process instead of a performance.

Instead of building up huge audiences that never buy anything.

It’s focuses on helping you create content that attracts your ideal clients right from day one.

Instead of guessing what works…

You’ll use a simple, scientific approach to creating content, one that you can complete in just a few hours each week… one that shows you deliberately who’s responding, what they resonate with, and why. One that let’s you double down on precisely what brings the right people closer to you and your work.

And when you do that…

You can stop chasing attention because then, attention will find you.

That’s how my first Threads client came in, from a post with almost no reach.

That’s how Abbey signed her first high-value client within a month of using this system to write on Threads (before she even had an email list… simply because her writing made the right person feel seen).

And it’s also how Rahaf brought in $25,000 in a single month writing to the same handful of people on her email list who previously wouldn’t budge.

Because this isn’t just about posting strategies or copywriting tactics…

It’s about discovering your real clients through writing.

Because when the right person sees themselves in your writing, sales naturally follow.

So in addition to the Client Discovery System, I’ve put my entire content-to-clients framework inside my latest creation, Threads Organic Traffic.

It’s a clear, repeatable system for:

  • Discovering your ideal clients, quickly, through writing.
  • Knowing exactly who to write to, and exactly what to say.
  • Turning posts into conversations, subscribers, and clients.

And most of all, doing it in just a few hours a week (without having to ignore your family and spend all your time on Threads).

Whether you’re experienced and frustrated, or just getting started and want to do things right from day one, this system meets you where you’re at, and helps you get results right away.

But there’s one important detail…

Threads Organic Traffic will not be sold publicly for any price!

Instead, it’s being released inside my upcoming membership community.

Access will only be available to those who’ve joined the waitlist in time.

Because between Christmas and New years… the doors will open, everyone on the waitlist will be invited in, and there will only be a short window of time to join me inside before the doors close again (for an undetermined period of time).

I don’t know when I’m going to open access to the community again…

But when I do, the price will go up for new members while existing members will be grandfathered in at that price for as long as they decide to stay.

In addition…

As a founding member, you’ll get access to:

  • Small group masterminds with other serious builders.
  • A private network of like-minded entrepreneurs moving in the same direction.
  • Opportunities to collaborate, cross-promote, and support each other’s offers.

Founding members will help shape how this works.

This isn’t just about list-building and organic content creation… it’s the foundation for building a profitable online business you’re proud of.
