Can't we do both?

Yesterday I asked you a question.

"Do you want more email content in the community, or not?"

And the replies have been piling in.

90% said YES. 10% said they’re not sure, and with good reason. But before I tell you what I'm doing about it, let me back up for a second.

Today is day 3 of the 7-Day Threads Writing Challenge.

And the post I'm breaking down inside the community today only got 345 views. That’s it. 345 people saw it, and 10 of them liked it, including myself. But it's also the closest thing I've ever seen to a complete stranger going from Threads to client in a single shot.

Something I noticed while reviewing it through.

There was still an email list step in the path. They saw the post. Left a comment. Joined my email list. And then booked a call. All in one fell swoop pretty much. It’s possible the email list step could have been removed in this case, but since it was there, it made everything else easier.

And going back through my own data this week has been clarifying. Not just for me, but for what I think you might want to focus on too.

Which brings me back to my question…

90% of people replied with a resounding “YES!” more email content please. But a few people raised some concerns. And I think they're worth addressing out loud.

Concern #1: "Can't you do both?"

One reader put it like this: "People need to know how to grow their list too."

Fair point.

But here's the deal. I'm not deleting list growth content from the community.

Honestly, there’s already more than enough in there on growing your list with Threads. And as far as I’m concerned, that problem is more or less solved. I’ll keep clarifying, updating, and improving over time. But the foundation is built, and if you have any questions, just drop them in the community.

But all to say…

Yes, list growth will continue to be a feature in the community.

Concern #2: "This sounds overwhelming. I just need clients."

Another reader said the whole thing felt like a 60-hour-a-week job.

Also a fair point.

And honestly? Trying to figure all this stuff out on your own is probably a 60-hour-a-week job.

Which is exactly why I'm building the community.

So you don't have to figure it out alone. So you can copy-paste my workflows. So you can swipe the AI skills, tools, and shortcuts I've already built. So the path from where you are to your next client gets shorter, not longer.

If you're worried things will get more overwhelming, I got you. The goal is to make it simpler. Not harder.

So. If you want more email content inside the community, reply back YES. If you don't, reply back NO and tell me what's holding you back.

And if you're curious what "more email content" actually looks like, here's a short list:

  • List growth.
  • Lead magnets.
  • Customer ascension paths.
  • Short and long-term nurture strategies.
  • Experimenting with new offers.
  • Running promotions, and more…

My goal is to make running a profitable email list an easy, fun, and profitable thing for you to do.

So like I said. Reply YES. Reply NO. Tell me what you want to see more of specifically.
