Who wants to run ads?

A while back I told you I was going to start running Meta ads to grow my email list.

Well, I did.

And honestly? The results were pretty good.

But at the time, my organic Threads growth was doing even better. So the results from paid ads sort of paled in comparison and I put them on pause.

Something I didn’t think about though was how all that would play out long term.

Organic reach especially has ebbs and flows. You've probably noticed this. A week or two where everything you post is a home run, and then weeks go by where not much happens at all. Or life happens you have less time to devote to content because take a week off to go do some ceremonies in the woods.

Well, paid ads don't care about any of that.

They are content, and they show up for people regardless. Randomness has little impact. And they either work or they don’t. Which I’m now coming to terms with this fact. And I think this is what makes paid ads easier to test and optimize than organic social media content.

Both are important.

But they serve different functions. And the reason I’m telling you this is because I’m getting back into paid ads again this week and I’m curious who else is interested.

Do you want to learn more about running ads to grow your email list, test your offers, and build your business?

If so, just reply back and let me know.

I’ll ask a few questions that will help me figure out what kind of content to create inside the community to help you learn from my wins and failures.

Talk soon,
