I used to sit down and struggle, now I stand
I used to sit down and feel overwhelmed with what to write on Threads.
But now I stand, or more accurately I walk, on my walking pad.
Still overwhelmed…
Just kidding… honestly, now I’ve got too many ideas. But when I started writing that wasn’t the case. I really felt overwhelmed with what to write and where to get ideas. I would start writing something then abandon it.
I didn’t trust my voice, etc…
At the time we still had to post manually (there were no scheduling apps) and I’d anxiously check my notifications throughout the day waiting for the moments when something I said would go viral, make an impact, and start bringing leads into my business.
But early on, that didn’t happen.
It wasn’t necessarily the content even, some of it did pretty well.
But the biggest problem I had early on is I wasn’t clear enough with my positioning. If someone came to my bio on Threads, they probably had no clear idea what I did.
If, by chance, they were able to figure it out, I had no clear steps for them to take to start taking action.
By and large I’ve found this is the first thing people need to change.
When someone hits your bio on Threads they should immediately recognize you’re someone who can help, no matter how big or small your follower count is.
It should be clear what you do, proof you get results, and options for taking the first step.
