Not exactly the glowing testimonial I was hoping for
Yesterday's email got quite a bit of interest.
No doubt because of the social proof contained inside. And it reminded me of something that comes up a fair bit. Many new clients will outright come to me and say, "I just really love your emails. I want to figure out how to do what you do."
Well, I've made it possible for you to do exactly that.
This very morning I added a bonus training to the Highly Effective Emails guide inside my community.
Here's the story behind it.
A while back, a somatic parenting coach reached out. She was struggling to make low-ticket product sales with her emails. She had an audience. She had offers. She just couldn't figure out how to write emails that actually converted into a reasonable amount of sales to make the whole thing worth it.
So I audited her copy and her emails.
Walked her through what was working, what wasn't, and what to focus on.
Here's what she said afterward:
===
"Since you ran me through my emails and showed me what to focus on, I've seen an increase in digital sales."
===
Not exactly the glowing testimonial I’d had in mind, but I do appreciate that it's direct, honest, and after all, it is a win, right?
Here's what's good about it.
A few months later, she came back, but this time the story was different.
She'd built a completely break-even Facebook ad campaign. Which means every dollar she spent on ads was being covered by sales on the front end. She was growing her email list for free, and maybe even turning a small profit on top.
Which is genuinely impressive.
But she had a new problem.
Even though she'd built up a lot of content, years of it, and she had a clearer offer now, something she thought her audience might really want. She just wasn’t sure how to take all of that content and turn it into emails that sold the next thing on the back end.
This is something I see all the time.
People have a lot working in their favor. They've got an audience, they’ve got content, they’ve got offers. But when they sit down to write an email, the lights dim.
Here’s how she put:
===
"It feels like I'm this close to hitting a diamond, and I'm afraid to hit in the wrong spot."
===
The bonus training shows you how to hit the right one, or at least not the wrong one, every single time.
If you’re a premium member, you’ve already got it.
