Getting AI to save you time, or make you money, is a lot harder than the people selling AI advice would like you to believe.
Most of what’s being taught falls into one of two buckets.
The first bucket is the software developers and computer engineers.
They already understand AI. They know how to feed it the right information at the right time. But that’s because they build apps and write code for a living.
That’s not you or me.
The second bucket is everything made for coaches, consultants, creators, etc… It’s still mostly prompts. How to use chatbots. And how to get marginally better results by copying and pasting the right documents into your project before you start.
There are some people who take it further than that.
However, what they usually try to do is just sell you their newly vibe-coded apps, or the workflows and shortcuts they’ve built for their business, their voice, and the way they like to work.
But none of that is truly yours.
Nobody is teaching the expert with years of experience how to automate the tedious parts of their business.
And if they are, how come everyone is still so busy?
Why do the time savings never show up in your actual calendar?
Why are you still pushing things till next week on a Friday?
I’ll tell you why.
But first I want you to know this isn’t just you.
MIT studied enterprise AI implementation last year and found that 95% of pilot programs produced no measurable return on investment. We’re not talking just a handful of upsets here.
Ninety-five percent.
None of them got results.
And it had nothing to do with the models (which are getting great now by the way). It’s that nobody’s integrating them into the work they actually do on a day-to-day basis.
Even better.
Upwork found that more than 95% of executives expect AI to make people more productive while the majority of employees say it’s just made their workload overwhelming. So that’s what most people are struggling with right now.
More tools, more tabs, more work, with no end in sight.
So today I’ll show you how I’m actually changing that. But I want to start by telling you how much time time it took to figure this out. Because when I started, I was spending more time in front of my computer than ever before.
I tried everything.
All the apps, servers, agents, prompts, etc… building things up, tearing them down, finding what was useful, accepting the loss on the things that weren’t. The learning curve on this stuff is way steeper than anyone is willing to admit.
And for months I was not saving time, I was spending it.
What finally helped me bring all this together wasn’t some brand new tool. It was realizing I’d been wrong about something fairly basic. Something you’ve probably heard before, and yet almost nobody takes it seriously.
The quality of what you get out of AI depends on the quality of what you put in.
And if you spend all your time gathering all the perfect ingredients to put in, many times you might have been better off just doing the work yourself from the beginning. That is, unless you build a workspace that knows how to organize itself, and direct agents like Claude or ChatGPT on your behalf.
Once you understand how to do that, saving more time and making more money with AI in your business actually becomes possible.
And it all comes down to these three things:
1. Give it access
Everything you’ve ever written, created, or published. All your transcripts, all your recordings, all your images and assets. Your metrics, payments, analytics. Everything you’ve got. This sounds kinda scary, until you realize there’s a right and a wrong way to do it. But it’s necessary. This is the only way AI will actually be able to do work on your behalf.
2. Give it a map
This is a set of instructions that will tell any AI agent (like Claude or ChatGPT), what to reach for during any given task. And you don’t have to go through the tedious work of writing these up yourself. You simply need to tell your AI agent once how you like to perform the task yourself, and it will write up the instructions for you.
3. Give it a routine
A few simple rules for what happens when you sit down to work, and what happens when you finish. Your AI updates the map as it goes so it’s right every time you ask it do the same task again. Without this, you might spend a weekend building something great. But two weeks later it’s out of date. And you go back to doing everything yourself.
And that’s it.
Those three things are all you need to make it work.
But most people never get past the first one.
Joe Landis runs a finish carpentry business. The first time he created and sent a customer invoice through his CRM by talking to it, he said:
===
“Okay, that’s fucking awesome.”
===
When I showed George Kao, Authentic Business coach, how my blog publishes itself straight out of Notion, he said:
===
“That’s so good… I love it, dude.”
===
And on my end, it’s the real reason I can deliver copywriting work to clients faster than ever. Because now I get to focus on the writing while my AI agents build the email templates, checkouts, and landing pages then schedule everything out while I’m drinking egg drink and taking a 45 minute break in the sun.
That’s what the Knowledge System Workshop is all about.
Three different sessions, and one for each layer.
Session one, your AI knows your business. Session two, it thinks like you. Session three, it does the work you no longer want to do.
As a result, you can stop pasting in context. You can stop starting from a blank page. You can stop spending half your week formatting, uploading, and tracking things that should track themselves.
And if you’d like to learn more…

Tomorrow I’ll show you something my AI agents found for me, I never would have found on my own, that completely changed the way I run my business.
